Councilmember
William "Bill" May was elected President of Council on January 3, 2012
and is currently serving his sixth term on the
Whitehouse Village Council.
Mr. May has been a Whitehouse resident for forty-one years. He has been a member of the Whitehouse Volunteer Fire and EMS Department for forty years and currently serves as Assistant Fire Chief. He is a member of the Lucas County Fire Chiefs Association, the Northwest Ohio Volunteer Firemen Association, the D-Mat National Disaster Medical Team, and an Assistant Fire Instructor for the State of Ohio. In 2005/2006, Bill spent five months as Assistant Chief of the full time Antarctica Fire Department at McMurdo Station to support the Federal Government's National Science Foundation Research Programs. His hobbies include bowling, NASCAR racing, football and traveling.
