Finance Department
The
Finance Director, under the direction of the Administrator shall be the Chief
Fiscal Officer for the municipality. Duties
include, but are not limited to keeping the financial records of the
municipality; establishing the accounting system, investments, financial records and reports;
preparing and submitting appropriation measures, estimates, budgets, capital
programs; and performing other functions performed by the Auditor and Treasurer
of a municipality under the general laws of Ohio.
The Finance Director is appointed by the Mayor, subject to confirmation
by a majority of the members of Council for an indefinite term.
Human Resources Department
The Finance Director, under the direction of the Administrator, shall also serve as the Village Human Resource Officer.
The Village currently employs 34 full-time employees, 18 part-time employees, and 24 volunteer firemen.
